This site aims to provide a comprehensive list of sites of interest and relvance to seniors, retirees, veterans, pensioners and carers. Links cover relevant government departments, finance, lifestyle and health information; some sections are arranged by state. A discussion list is also available.
Aged Care Queensland
An association of organisations concerned with the provision of care and accommodation services to aged or disabled Queenslanders. The site lists facilities by region, vacancies in a range of accommodation types, positions vacant for workers and provides many links to relevant sites. Details of courses run by association for aged care workers are provided. It has an on-line store for industry related items.
Alcoholics Anonymous Brisbane Central Service Office
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. Website includes links to Recovery Online, Your Pathfinder guide to all Queensland AA meetings and related sites.
Australian Community Safety & Research Organisation
Based in Lutwyche, Brisbane the national crime prevention organisation has information on its accommodation, education, training and employment services. See also research, publications, issues and national campaigns.

BAYS is an organisation that supports young people. Its website provides information on its activities and projects and gives contact details.
Brisbane East Interagency/Network
The first aim of the Network is "to facilitate and develop a more integrative, collaborative and cohesive approach to service delivery in the local area for persons aged 50 years and over."
