The Queensland office of AFTRS offers seminars, workshops and master classes for industry professionals and emerging filmmakers. We focus on the key creative areas of writing, producing and directing but also respond to industry demand and tailor-make in-house training/professional development. AFTRS books and videos are also available for sale at the Brisbane office.

Brisbane Images
Contains 5000 images from photographs and slides of the Brisbane City Council Library Services' Archives collection. Images date from the 1840s until present time. and provide a visual history of Brisbane. The archive can be browsed by time period, then by city region and then by feature. Or searched by keywords through the libraries' web catalogue (choose Image search). High-quality prints of images can also be ordered online. Can also be viewed online at Brisbane City Council libraries.
Exposure Unlimited : Beaudesert Camera Club Inc.
Exposure Unlimited was formed in 1994. "The aim of the club is for members to learn as much as possible about many aspects of photography." The club conducts workshops, day and weekend 'phototreks', an annual photography competition, and produces a monthly newsletter entitled 'Exposed'.
Mount Gravatt Photographic Society
The Mount Gravatt Photographic Society (formed in 1967) is a community-based non-profit camera club that is affiliated with the Photographic Society of Queensland. The site provides access to the online newsletter 'Exposure', calendar of activities, gallery of photographs, contact details, and links to the websites of photographic clubs in Australia, product manufacturers, and photography magazines.
Pacific Film and Television Commission
PFTC's objective is "..to build a future for Queensland's film and television industry by assisting the next generation of writers, producers, directors and technical personnel to gain valuable screen credits, to expand their network of industry contacts and to learn more about the creative technical and business aspects of filmmaking." They run courses, competitions, a magazine and other promotions.
