Buderim Historical Society Inc
The Society has been operating since 1960 and in that time we have accumulated a great deal of the History of Buderim. This history is available to researchers and students and there is a small charge for the sevices that might be supplied. There is also the opportunity to visit the Pioneer Cottage from Monday to Thursday inclusive unless it's Christmas Day or Good Friday and we are closed then. We open from 10.00am to 4.00 pm and there is a small charge of $3 for adults and $1 for children...

Noosa Shire Museum

Pine Rivers Heritage Museum
Location: North Pine Country Park, Dayboro Road, Kurwongbah.
The themes of the permanent exhibition includes: Aboriginal lifestyles, Early European Settlement, Primary and secondary industry and farming, Wars, Transport, Community Activities including Picnics and leisure, Local Government and Services including electricity, water, health and schools.
The museum is open from Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 3pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm.. |
Queensland Military Memorial Museum
Displays are set out chronologically from early 1800s to the modern era, relating the history of Queenslanders' service in the Queensland and Commonwealth Defence forces, both in times of peace and during war, and of the Allies of the Colony and Commonwealth in war.
Day and evening tours are available by prior arrangement for interested groups. |

Carbethon Folk Museum & Pioneer Village
"Carbethon homestead was opened as a folk museum in 1979. Since then, many other structures and artifacts have been added, including the slab hut (left).
