| Caboonbah Homestead "Caboonbah" Homestead is near Somerset Dam, overlooking a beautiful stretch of the Brisbane River, just below where it joins the Stanley River. It is built on a lofty headland and has magnificent views of the river both upstream and downstream. "Caboonbah" is named after the aboriginal word for 'big rock'. Here in 1890 a Swiss carpenter built a house for Henry Somerset, a well educated Englishman, who married a daughter of the pioneering McConnel family from Cressbrook Station. |

| Denbigh Farm Thornton, Lockyer Valley, SE Queensland 14 acres bordering Laidley Creek, with magnificent views.
