The Triennial presents contemporary Asian-Pacific visual arts in an series of major exhibitions held at the Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane.
Audiovisual Information & Research Service, State Library of Queensland
Audiovisual collection complements the Library's book collection. It includes historical films, archival footage of events and places, interviews with authors, film directors and artists, documentaries. There are a number of carrels and sound and video lounges for individual use. Film screenings are organised on most Sundays at 2pm in the State Library Theatrette.

Subcription database available to patrons in the Special Collections Room, level 3, State Library of Queensland (open Monday - Friday, 10am-5pm) or at Queensland public libraries that have applied for access.

A centre within the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University incorporating exhibitions from the University Art Collection, artist's residencies, multimedia events, educational lectures, and community arts programs. Website includes an on-line catalogue of the University Art Collection.
Halifax and its people 1749-1999
As a means of commemorating the 250th anniversary of Halifax, the Archives built this exhibition and told the history of Halifax. 150 photographic images have been used in the exhibition.
Images from the Hume Family Collection : history in photography
"An exhibition from the Fryer Library in association with the History Department, University of Queensland, written and compiled by Ann Fallon." The photographic images, which are accompanied by excerpts from family letters and diaries, include Walter Cunningham Hume, his wife Anna Katherine, their family and friends, homes, places of worship, and leisure activities, on the Darling Downs circa 1870. The exhibition also includes a bibliography.
Institute of Modern Art
