Aboriginal Art and Craft by Tobwabba Art
The Tobwabba Art online site includes a fine Art Gallery and shopping catalogue together with information about the history and culture of the Worimi people.
Aboriginal art online
The site offers information about Aboriginal art and artists based on the type of art created and on the region from which the artist comes. There is a virtual exhibition of Aboriginal art on display plus a monthly forum on a topic relevant to Aboriginal art or artists.
Aboriginal Memorial
The Aboriginal memorial consists of 200 hollow log coffins from Central Arnhem Land. The memorial is dedicated to 'all indigenous people who, since 1788, have lost their lives defending their land'. The site contains detail about clan groups, clan stories, clan artists, artists materials and environments. Panoramas of the works are available using Quick Time software.
Aboriginal Nations Gallery
A gallery of dreaming stories and art works exploring and highlighting the cultures, languages and lifestyles of Indigenous Australians. 'The Dreamings stories are presented as a series of Australian maps, from which, the main character of each story are located geographically to show the story's origin and artist.'
Alma de Tango
"Alma de Tango takes the role of center of propagation of the Argentine culture and art. Furthermore, offering the Australian community and visitors, access to its in-house and exhibited cultural resources (that is music, biographies, lyrics, graphic art, visual material, literature and learning means)." Australian Institute of Eastern Music
The Australian Institute of Eastern Music was founded in 1983 to 'further the music of Asia in Australia through regular performances, teaching and social events'. This site provides information about concerts, tuition, festivals, a calendar of events, and links to other Asian music sites.
Bangarra Dance Theatre
Formed in 1989, Bangarra's work gained prominence with the production of Ochres in 1995.
BEMAC : Brisbane Ethnic Music and Arts Centre
BEMAC fosters cultural diversity and the arts in South East Queensland, supporting music, dance, theatre, writing, visual arts and multi media. The Centre coordinates and produces arts events, operates a resource centre and a cultural development program, and assists artists’ professional development. Now incorporates the Queensland Folkloric Dance Association (QFDA).

Connie Rovina

Expressions Dance Company
Expressions was founded in 1985 and has achieved national and international recognition through its extensive touring program both in Australia and overseas. It has performed at most major Australian Festivals as well as many festivals throughout the world. Based in Brisbane, Expressions runs Schools Programs and Community Dance Classes, and also a Dance Partner scheme.
Garma Festival

PoARTry in motion
Website accompanying an exhibition of works by eight indigenous Queensland poets. The exhibition is the initiative of the Cooloola Shire Library Indigenous Resource Unit, and was officially launched in Cooloola in February 2001. Its tour of regional Queensland begins August 6 2002 and includes libraries as far flung as Thursday Island and Cunnamulla. Biographical information about the poets, as well as a sample of their work may be found at this site.
